  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PayPal, and Venmo.

    When will I be charged?

    You will be charged as soon as your order is processed, which can take up to one hour.

    Can I use a Visa gift card?

    Yes, you can use a Visa gift card. That said, be sure to save your Visa gift card after purchasing even if the balance reaches zero. You will need to present the card, or the digits on the card, when returning items purchased with it. Without the card, you cannot make returns.

  • Do I need an account to place an order?

    No, you can place an order as a guest. However, creating an account will make checking out easier in the future, as we will securely save your name, address, and the last four digits of your credit card number for you.

    How do I know you received my order?

    You will receive an order confirmation email from info@marcus-alexander.com immediately after placing your order.

    If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder and feel free to contact us at info@marcus-alexander.com.

    Can I change my order?

    We cannot make changes to your order after it has been placed.

    If you made a mistake on an order and would like to return it, please email us at returns@marcus-alexander.com, or visit our Returns Center.

  • When will my order ship?

    Orders placed before 1:00 PM PT Monday through Friday usually ship the same day.

    Orders placed after 1:00PM PT Monday through Friday will ship the following business day.

    All orders placed on weekends/holidays will ship the following business day.

    Any shipping delays will be communicated to the email address provided in the checkout process.

    What shipping methods do you offer?

    We currently offer two different shipping methods for domestic orders:


    Free Standard Shipping: 3-5 business days

    
Paid Express Shipping: 2-3 business days for orders placed before 1:00 PM PT

    Can I track my order?

    Yes, you will receive a shipment confirmation email as soon as your order ships. The shipment confirmation email will include a tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours before tracking your order.

    Can I change my shipping address?

    We try our best to ship within 24 hours of receiving orders. However, if you email us immediately, we will do our best change the shipping address. Please note, that we can not guarantee any updates after an order is placed.

    Where do Marcus Alexander orders ship from?

    Most orders are shipped from our warehouse in Los Angeles, CA.

    Do you ship internationally?

    Yes, we do offer international shipping! International shipping times and costs vary depending on your location.

    Will I be charged taxes and duties?

    For international orders, we’ll calculate and apply all applicable taxes and duties for you at checkout. They will be added to your total shipping cost.

    Taxes and duties applied at checkout are not refundable.

    Please note that some banking institutions charge foreign transaction fees, which we do not assume responsibility for.

  • What is your return policy?

    To make a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Center. We accept returns and exchanges of most unworn products in sellable condition within 14 days of receipt.

    Once your return is received, inspected, and accepted, we will refund your original method of payment less a $10 restocking fee.

    If your return is sent back after 14 days of receipt and it is unworn and in sellable condition, you will only be eligible for store credit.

    Promotional offers cannot be applied to previous purchases. All items noted as ‘Final Sale’ or purchased with an additional % off the noted sale price are considered Final Sale, and are not eligible for return. If an order is returned and no longer qualifies for its gift with purchase, the gift value will be deducted from the refund (unless the gift is also returned). Returned items must be unworn and in sellable condition.

    When will I be refunded?

    After your return arrives at our warehouse, please allow three to five business days for our warehouse team to process it.

    Once your return is processed, your refund will be released to your original payment method and we will send you an email confirming the refund.

    How can I make an exchange?

    To make a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Center.

    We accept exchanges of most unworn products in sellable condition within 14 days of receipt.

    Once your return is received, inspected, and accepted, we will process your exchange order*. We will refund your original method of payment less a $10 restocking fee. You’ll receive an Order Update email from us with tracking information once your exchange order ships.

    Yes, we do accept international returns and exchanges.

  • The product I want is out of stock in my size. Will it be restocked?

    As part of our Responsibility Commitment, we are committed to not overproducing and creating excessive inventory. Given this commitment, products may not be restocked — especially seasonal colors and collaborations.

    If you missed out on a style in your size, add yourself to our Waitlist.

    Can I pre-order new styles and colors before they launch?

    Occasionally, we allow email subscribers to pre-order shoes. If you’d like to have access to pre-ordering, sign up for our emails.

    Do you sell vegan shoes?

    We currently do not leverage vegan leathers in our collection. However, we would be excited to use them in the future depending on production advancements in the industry.

    While in research and development, we discovered that nearly all vegan leathers are made with plastics derived from fossil fuels.

    Given this dependence on fossil fuels for production, the microplastic particles that come from the plastics, and the fact that they aren’t recyclable, at the moment, we have opted out of vegan leathers.

    There are brilliant minds in the fashion industry making groundbreaking sustainable strides every day. Our hope is to take advantage of these advancements one day!

    Are Marcus Alexanders waterproof?

    Marcus Alexanders are water-resistant, but they are not waterproof.

    To protect your Marcus Alexanders, lightly coat them with your favorite protector spray. This step will protect them from environmental elements and prolong their freshness.

    Be sure to find a protector spray that is compatible with the shoe’s materials (Materials are listed on the bottom of each product page).

    How do I know which size is right for me?

    To determine your perfect size, reference our Size Guide.

    Do you offer half sizes?

    We only carry whole sizes at the moment.

    All of Marcus Alexanders fit true to size.

    We recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.

    For a narrow foot, size down if your between sizes otherwise take your normal size.

    For a wider foot or if you prefer a roomier fit, we recommend sizing up a whole size.

    Do you offer custom sizes?

    We currently do not offer custom sizes. That said, some of our shoes are available in extended sizes such as 14 and 15.

  • Are Marcus Alexanders recyclable?

    Marcus Alexanders are made with high quality materials and we take pride in our craftsmanship so each shoe stands the test of time. However, inevitably, all good things come to an end and they reach the end of their lifecycle.

    We created the Marcus Alexander Recycling Program to keep the impact to the environment as low as possible through our shoes entire lifecycle.

    Here’s how you can participate in the Marcus Alexander Recycling Program:

    1. Email us at info@marcus-alexander.com and we’ll send you a shipping label — and then pour one out for the homies.

    2. Say your goodbyes, pack up your Marcus Alexanders, and send them back to us. Once received, we will break them down, sort the recyclable and non-recyclable elements, and send them to the appropriate facilities.

    3. Your shine can’t and won’t stop — at least not on our watch! After we receive your retired pair of shoes, we will send you a $50 credit toward your next pair of Marcus Alexanders!
